The Business Insights team is part of a new and innovative program created to identify and solve next-generation technology problems across the globe. This team will build best-in-class cross-functional business relationships and bring first-person perspectives back to the technology teams to drive effective, simple, and intuitive solutions for our customers. The Business Insights Manager will lead Business Insights Analysts who will act as global liaisons, working with business partners to develop data-driven solutions for our Enterprise, Commercial, R&D, and Manufacturing Operations organizations. The right person for this role will innately value simplicity, agility, and experimentation to solve complex problems, will be a proven team leader who develops and inspires high performing teams, and will possess the drive and determination to get things done.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the operational framework for the Business Insights program
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team, as well as influence others in a cross-functional environment, with a customer-centric and global perspective
  • Develop stakeholder governance as a forum for decision-making based on data
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including technology and business leaders
  • Partner closely with the Data Science team to establish data-driven communications, standards, and deliverables for technical health
  • Work with business partners and technology leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for technical improvement, as well as manage data governance
  • Effectively organize and present data insights, tailoring the format to match the audience
  • Act as a steward for infrastructure data and reporting
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, related field. Master's degree preferred. At least 5 years' experience in business systems analysis, business relationship management, software development or deployment, with a minimum of 7 years in technology.
  • Required: Must have exceptional team development and management skills
  • Required: Must be able to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with customers and technical team members, including executives
  • Required: Must have the ability to deal with ambiguity and work collaboratively in a heavily matrixed and international environment
  • Required: Must have a style of communicating that is clear, concise, and diplomatic
  • Required: Must be deliverables-focused and detail-oriented
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboard capabilities. Functional understanding of ServiceNow ITIL modules (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
  • Preferred: Experience with big data concepts and analytic tools, QlikView, SQL, Power BI, HTML, and Visual Basic
  • Preferred: Experience with financial project management
