The Associate Director, Data Warehouse & Data Quality will lead and manage Data Warehousing and Data Quality functions. They will build the strategies for the function and ensure communication, alignment and execution with excellence. They will also be responsible for training and mentoring the team of analysts, and ensuring the business and compliance commitments are met.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for the ownership of Data Quality and ongoing management, implementation and delivery of the Data Warehouse
  • Analyze legacy applications, understand business requirements and develop future state data validation and data quality processes
  • Create and maintain data standards, lineage and attribute mapping from data sources
  • Conduct data analysis to determine data availability and quality for purposes of reporting
  • Define/Design the logical and dimensional data model
  • Build a Data Dictionary
  • Analyze data in-depth using SQL
  • Educate other team members on the Data Model and address questions as needed

Education/ Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.
  • Minimum of combined 14 years of experience in good to excellent understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and delivering Business Insights and Data Warehouse solutions to end users in the Pharmaceutical industry.
    • At least 10 years of experience with following tools and concepts:
      Databases such as SQL Server / Oracle
      Columnar databases such as Snowflake
      Processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
      Data movement and transformation technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to get tasks done
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Physical Requirements:

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and frequent walking. Daily use of a computer, phone, office equipment and other computing and digital devices is required. May be required to stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel may be necessary, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license and/or effectively navigate public transportation is required. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must be able to read and respond to interoffice communications as well as effectively participate in meetings. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to lift up to 20 lbs., pull, push, carry, handle or feel. The employee is required to carry, handle items, reach with arms and hands, to stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. Mental demands may require prolonged concentration, reading comprehension, understanding and interpretation of concepts, ideas and philosophies.
