Manage all labelling related activities between the Artwork teams, MSP, Package engineering, External Manufacturing (ExM) and Contract Manufacturing supply sites (CMO) in North America

Responsibilities:
  • Project Manage Global artwork / Labelling changes / Projects.
  • Support MS&T for all labelling/packaging change activities
  • Represent MS&T on global labelling and packaging project teams.
  • Monitor artwork changes and collaborate with the SRM in line with Virtual Plant Model
  • Provide the information needed to supply chain so that they can provide the effectivity date needed on the Bill of Specs.
  • Ensure the supply Chain team provides the effectivity date to enable the Documentation tea to process and route the Bill of Specifications timely to allow the CMO to execute the production plan on time.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and oversee internal procedures and implement improvements to the labelling and Packaging Change Management processes.
  • To communicate upcoming artwork changes in a timely manner to the CMO in order to minimize printed component write off costs to Supply Chain weekly.
  • Keep record of in process artwork changes (from PPCCRF to BOS approval.) and communicate to supply chain planning team and CMOs documentation team.
  • To aid resolution of any artwork related issues & queries as required.
  • Support as document expert and to provide context on quality investigations
  • To review and approve the Bill of Specifications for all CMOs (planning function on SPS) and review that the components are correct and the effectivity date is the required by Supply Chain.
  • Escalate any artwork related delays or issues to the Virtual Plant Team as required.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships within the BMS organization and externally with trade customers and suppliers.
  • Communicate weekly the current changes and upcoming, review any requests artwork related and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external.
  • Follow up with site change requests where BOS will be modified.
  • Keep LCCs and documentation team updated on monthly metrics, priorities and change requests.
  • Liaise and coordinate with local regulatory regarding PPCCRF completion and artwork change requests.
  • Coordinate with replenishment planning to achieve Date to Market.
  • Primary point of contact for all labelling and packaging related queries under the responsibility of ExM.
  • Keep total cycle time metric updated for each CMO.
  • Travel ( up to 25%) may be required


RequiredCompetencies
• Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.

• Understanding of Artwork change process, BMS Supply Chain, packaging and markets.
• Demonstrated project management / artwork change experience

• Good understanding of business specific organizations, functions and business-5 support systems (manufacturing, packaging, artwork, regulatory, marketing, quality control/quality assurance and supply chain)

• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and organizations

Required Qualification(s) and Desired Experience
• Primary degree in related field or equivalent

• 3 years experience including artwork and packaging development and processes within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device industry.

• Detailed understanding of and experience of working to the regulatory and packaging engineering requirements relating to the labelling and artwork of primary and secondary packaging of pharmaceutical products
• Understanding of Supply Chain and Regulatory labeling operations.
