Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Associate Director, Business Analytics to work in this ground breaking new area of cancer immunotherapy. This individual will work closely with Corporate Development and senior leaders from partner functions to meet commitments to Kite's portfolio, program, and product strategies by driving business analytics across Kite enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish comprehensive business intelligence plan that fits the purpose of Kite's Corporate Development operating model
  • Drive global program leads, product teams, business development, corporate strategy, alliance management, and functional business operations groups to establish data governance principles and framework
  • Partner with portfolio management on asset valuation, resource forecasting, prioritization, cost planning, and risk management
  • Design, deploy, and maintain business analytics and reporting capabilities that will ensure transparent and informed decision making across Kite portfolio
  • Analyze sophisticated business problems and trends using data from internal and external sources
  • Design dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to enable partners to make data-driven decisions
  • Establish data structure and system requirements
  • Drive key Corporate Strategy and Operations organization's capabilities development initiatives


Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience and a BS in science/related discipline, 8+ years' experience with an MA/MS, or 6+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with PhD/PharmD.


Additional Qualifications:
  • MBA or PhD is preferred
  • Extensive experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of drug development and corporate governances
  • Broad knowledge of information technologies in the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry
  • Critical thinking, strong business acuity, ability to manage complexity, and proven communication skills at all levels in the organization
  • Collaborative individual, able to influence without authority and engage senior leaders and functional partners proactively
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment with minimal direction
  • Demonstrates respect, focuses on delivering value, and embraces learning and continual improvement
