As a key member of our Accounting team, this role provides support to Accounting and Finance staff, as well as our internal functional customers and external vendors, and ensures complete, timely, and accurate Accounting and Accounts Payable functions within the department. Solid accounting knowledge is required.

Essential Duties and Responsbilities:
- Account for current month's activities and post the journals in quick book/Sage X3 ERP system.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including recording all activities, invoices, reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
- Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage cash and payment request and perform the duty of Accounts Payable function.
- Process invoices for payment, reviews for accuracy and authenticity,communicate with vendors on payment information and reconcile the difference. Maintains accounts payable files and records including filing as needed.
- Audit employee expense reports, verify supporting document and process payments.
- Assist in development and maintenance of accurate standard costing for all projects.
- Perform annual physical count of inventory and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards(i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- BA or advanced degree in Accounting, with 3+ years' experience in Accounting.
- 1+ years' Accounts Payable experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (incl. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word).
- Accounting software experience, Quick Books required. Sage ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to deliver accurate, timely financial results.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Service Orientation to internal functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP processes and controls.
- Knowledge of Project Accounting.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
