Marketing Director, Patient Access HCP Hub Lead

The Marketing Director, Patient Access Healthcare Professional (HCP) Hub Lead is part of the Patient Access team and reports to Executive Director of Patient Access.

This role is responsible for the operations of Amgen Hub capabilities across the portfolio, including leading the team responsible for building new HCP hub capabilities and maintaining current HCP hubs.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:

  • Design the strategy for short and long-term HCP hub capabilities in support of patients' access to Amgen's brands
  • Lead the team responsible for managing current HCP hubs supporting patient access across the Amgen portfolio
  • Lead the build of HCPs hubs for impending launches across the portfolio
  • Establish guidelines for Amgen HCP hubs and how they interact with other Patient Access service providers (e.g. field reimbursement, eSolutions, etc.)
  • Lead and establish vendor-partner relationships, looking for opportunities to innovate and deliver exceptional experiences to HCPs in support of patients.
  • Lead, supervise, and foster the career development of the HCP Hub team
  • Serve on the Amgen USV&A Patient Access Leadership Team working collaboratively to design, build and implement patient access support services for Amgen
  • Oversee budget development and performance monitoring
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships with other business units, as well as with internal partners to ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Evaluate opportunities for Patient Access across portfolio


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience

OR

Master's degree and 7 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Pharmaceutical/Biotech Call Center (hub) management experience highly desirable
  • Strong Access Marketing and/or Sales Leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, including managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountability
  • Leadership experience of larger team or multiple levels
  • Experience developing strategies to optimize patient access within highly competitive markets
  • Direct US payer, managed care, and pharmacy experience and/or health policy experience
  • Experience and/or familiarity with design and implementation of patient access support and programs
  • Demonstrated creativity in addressing strategic challenges
  • Works effectively in a team and seeks expert opinions and insights to build alignment around key objectives and exercise influence at all levels
  • Ability to develop and deliver concise, relevant and well-supported briefings and adapt presentation style with knowledge and credibility to influence senior management
