Provide analytic support to pull through brand strategy and tactics at a sub-national level. Facilitate understanding of market conditions, customer profiles, brand adoption, and promotional activity at a territory/regional and national level by providing strategic direction to field-facing tools. Meaningfully communicate findings to a broad group of stakeholders through strong oral and written communication.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute routine and ad-hoc analytics focused on identification of key business drivers or trends that impact a sales territory or regions profit or loss. Make recommendations to enhance and optimize brand performance.
  • Identify and recommend key issues to be addressed by analytics; recommend appropriate technique and analytic approach to meet business objectives under manager's guidance.
  • Serve as Field Tools Liaison by instilling data and analytics driven insights with field teams. Consolidate/create efficiency in developing and delivering field-facing reporting.
  • Provide strategic direction to the creation of field-facing tools to enhance in field team and home office understanding of market conditions, customers and promotional response across multiple channels; facilitate business planning and promotional execution; and provide a positive user experience (tools are simple and intuitive).
  • Conduct sub-national analysis and integrate findings with multiple stakeholders. S upervise external analytic suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Establish oversight and QC of data operations to ensure accuracy in customer valuations
  • Leads Innovation in sub-national analyses and monitors divergent new and continuing patient demand trends at sub-national level
  • Analyze and interpret analytic data, summarize results, and clearly and persuasively communicate findings, implications and recommendations verbally and in writing.
  • Integrate strong understanding of the therapeutic area and customers into analytic interpretations and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and collaboration within the matrix organization


  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information and the use of this information in the development of business plans and strategies. It also requires strong leadership skills and a proven ability to work closely and effectively with all corporate functions and management.
  • Must exhibit proficiency commensurate with grade in the following competencies: anticipate future needs, build collaborative partnerships, Design and implement innovative solutions, demystify complex information, communicate insights and solutions and coach for greater team effectiveness.

Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Economics, Statistics, Marketing or in a closely related field of study with a concentration in marketing/sales/quantitative analysis
  • Pharma Experience
