Senior Manager, Network Supply Strategy (Senior Manager, Supply Chain)

The Senior Manager, Network Supply Strategy, will have responsibility of modeling supply scenarios and aligning on the optimal supply strategy based on Commercial and Clinical, including Business Development, long range plans and assumptions. This role will require strong collaboration skillset across multiple functions and at various levels to drive supply strategy based on internal priorities, external opportunities and financial considerations.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
  • Collaborate with Corporate Strategy, Commercial, Clinical, Research, Tech Ops, Finance, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Business Development and cross functional operational teams to establish and align on long rang plan and requirements for supply of commercial and clinical products
  • Bring in industry trends and analysis on evolving cell therapy manufacturing, supply chain and delivery strategies
  • Develop, align and maintain supply plans and strategies based on product transitions and lifecycle management plans and assumptions.
  • Ability to work with tremendous ambiguity, critically synthesize diverse information, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Model and present supply strategies and plans with options, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assess and determine network allocation and product volumes with a focus on capacity utilization, supply continuity and costs
  • Integrate medium to long term demand and supply plans with S&OP planning processes
  • Lead and facilitate "Make vs Buy" sourcing strategy assessments and decisions related to network supply
  • Develop models, tools and reports to enable the efficient assessment of our long range capacity and supply plans.
  • Other responsibilities as required.


Requirements:
  • Master's Degree and 6+ years of operations or supply chain experience in life sciences industry or Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of operations or supply chain experience in life sciences industry
  • B S required, degree in science/engineering is a plus
  • Deep analytical and statistical skills to evaluate & interpret complex problems using multiple sources of information
  • Great communication, verbal and PowerPoint; high proficiency with Excel
  • Strong background in one or more of the following: operations, GMP processes, supply chain planning, demand management
  • Great communication and collaborative skillset, high proficiency in PowerPoint and excel
  • Good business acumen, ability to think strategically and analytically, including financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including presentations and ability to influence all levels of staff, including executives
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while delivery a timely and high quality end work product
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic team player
