Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
* Will be responsible for assay development, screening of compounds, HTS using robotics, reagent preparation, pippetting, and mammalian tissue culture.
* Over time will train on various techniques such as flow cytometry and PCR.
* Oversee sample, reagent, and instrument management, including inventory tracking within the LIMS system
* Maintain a well-organized, best-in-class lab environment
* Oversee EHS and MSDS compliance
* Assist project teams with ongoing biological lab needs
* Assist in novel system testing
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 1-2+ years of relevant experience working in scientific operations with tissue culture and pippetting.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to troubleshoot, solve difficult problems, and propose solutions relating to lab organization and management
* Experience working with a LIMS system (a plus) and strong MS office skills
* Self-motivated, curious and results oriented with minimal oversight
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures
