I: Job Summary

This summer internship for college students to support key marketing and analytics activities. The intern will report for 8 to 10 weeks which is designated prior to initiating the internship. At completion, the intern provides a summary presentation and / or written report. During the internship the student will utilize the latest market and business intelligence tools to gain a clear picture of the CDMO market, and competitive landscape in order to make educated recommendations to sales and marketing. He/she will identify needs and gaps in the market, track and report on obtainable business, market demands, and marketing analytics - providing feedback in order to improve target profiling, prioritization, and qualification criteria used for lead management.

He/She will have the opportunity to gain familiarity with various software platforms while performing competitive analysis, developing and contributing to social media and lead nurturing. The intern may also be responsible for modifying design layouts for advertisements. Candidates with Salesforce.com, Hubspot or coding experience may contribute to Emergent's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration. Activities could include analysis and / or data entry of inbound marketing trends, data as well as pipeline / portfolio progress. All projects will support the strategic initiatives of Emergent's CDMO business unit.

II: Responsibilites

Adhere to Company safety guidelines. Maintain progress during the internship toward the specific goals outlined for the intern. Follow good documentation practices. Complete all required training.

III: Education, Experience & Skills

Full time student enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree program. Registration at a college or university for the previous academic year and for the subsequent academic year. This is an entry level position designed to provide introductory experience. Ability to utilize data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts is required.

IV: Physical/Mental Requirements

Type/keyboard, visual acuity, good eye/hand coordination, stand, walk, sit, twist/turn, climb, reach outward, reach above shoulder, hand dexterity, bend, squat/kneel, sense of feel, sense of smell, lift/carry 10 lbs, and pull 10 lbs. Use phone, fax, copier, and computer. Organize/coordinate, analyze/interpret, calibrate precise measurements, problem solve, make decisions, supervise, plan, communicate, prepare written communications.
