DESCRIPTION

  • Seeking a well seasoned senior medical director with drug development industry experience leading clinical development program design and oversight for clinical CNS programs through Phase III.
  • Will plan and manage clinical-stage programs focused in Alzheimer's (AD) and central nervous system (CNS) indications for a pioneering and well-financed preclinical and clinical-stage small pharma. 
  • Must be based in either the San Francisco Bay Area or the San Diego Area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical Doctor (MD) [or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)]; would also consider a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with extensive drug development industry experience leading late stage clinical trials in Alzheimer's (AD) or other Central Nervous System (CNS) indications.
  • Necessary skills and experience in medical leadership, communication, and organization  to effectively coordinate and collaborate among diverse internal and external staff and regulatory agencies to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance of clinical activities, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience managing, and insuring GCP and ICH guideline adherence for trial activities, data-analysis, and reporting; and experience contributing to IND and NDA filings. 
  • Experience responding to queries from and in direct interactions with FDA and EU regulatory agencies. 
  • Residency either in the San Francisco Bay Area or the San Diego Area. 
  • Current USA work authorization.
