Job Description

CSL Behring's six-month co-op program provides students with an opportunity to work alongside industry professionals in a collaborative, global, and dynamic environment. Co-op students are immersed in meaningful projects that contribute to CSL's promise to save lives and protect the health of people around the world.

This role is part of the Study & Business Operations group that provides services that enable the Clinical Development (CD) organization to run like a business and deliver its projects. The group has overall responsibility for providing budget and resource management, study planning and feasibility, contracts and outsourcing oversight, business analytics, performance management, and clinical governance services.

Role & Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for providing support in overseeing the performance / strategy management system for CD and for providing data that will allow the organization to make more effective decisions. In doing so, you will:

• Assemble data and associated analysis required to enable data-driven decisions by the organization, identify risks and issues, and optimize trial planning and conduct.
• Create performance reports that provide an understanding of the organization's performance with respect to cost / quality / speed.
• Work closely with eClinical and other functions to develop and produce dashboards.
• Facilitate the use of historical performance data into the CD planning process.
• Support the use of business intelligence and benchmarking data to compare CD performance to the industry and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support ad hoc requests for new data and reporting for operational support and project support
• Work cross-functionally with other groups supporting data and operational needs

Requirements

• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to think creatively and can work both independently as well as part of a team.
