These positions are in Biostatistics within Biostatistics & Data Management in Basking Ridge, NJ. There are 4 openings for Summer 2020. Each opening is described below.

Position 1:
The student will work on with senior statistician developing statical methodology and support response efforts to FDA and EMA from the I&R division's review comments. Specifically, the intern will continue to support Dupilumab program for new study designs and write SAS/R programs to provide the post-hoc analysis

Position 2:
The student will work on with senior statistician developing statical methodology particular for the non-parameters data (biomarker data)

Position 3:
This position is on the Department of Biostatistics and Data Management in Tarrytown. This student will evaluate certain statistical methodologies for data collected in clinical studies under the guidance of biostatisticians in Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. The work may involve literature search for available statistical methods or develop methods and evaluating the methods by conducting simulation studies. Data from clinical trials will be used to apply the methods under evaluation/development.

Position 4:
This Biostatistics Summer Internship will support the Early Clinical Development area on the analysis and presentation of biomarker and safety data from early development studies. The student intern will work under the supervision of a project statistician and focus on advanced visualizations of early development data, using tools such as R/Shiny, as well as the application of statistical methods with direct relevance to clinical research and clinical trials. The student will be involved in exploratory data analysis of clinical trial data and will also be involved in the application of novel statistical methods to clinical trial data. The key specific responsibilities will include statistical/clinical/regulatory literature review, develop SAS/R programs to implement statistical methods, conduct exploratory analyses of clinical trial data, and perform simulations to assess new methods on the trial data. The student will be able to learn some of the roles and responsibilities of a Statistician. At the end of the internship program, interns will give a presentation summarizing their work.

Position 4:

• Must be pursuing a degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related discipline

• Desired technical skills include, but are not limited to, knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and computational statistics. Ideally, the candidate will have a background in data visualization, with knowledge of Bayesian methodology, statistical computing, modeling and simulation, linear and nonlinear models, and model-informed drug development. Good working knowledge of statistical software such as R and SAS is required. Familiarity with R, R/Shiny, and high performance scientific computing would be a plus.

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project

• Housing stipend available for those students who meet mileage requirements
