Job Summary:

The Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Manager will drive world-class EHSS performance in a biotech/pharma sales fleet. The role will be responsible for the execution of key EHSS processes including:
  • Incident reduction programs across U.S. Fleet
  • Continuous improvement of driver performance across U.S. Fleet
  • Trending and analysis of EHSS information and provide data intelligence and actions
  • Provide EHSS support and provide subject matter expertise for U.S. fleet safety programs

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Support fleet operations with input from other EHSS subject matter authorities
  • Lead fleet telematics program to drive safe driving behaviors for all company drivers
  • Partner with clients to advance safety culture and manage EHSS risks
  • Analyze metrics and establish action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all changes with potential EHSS impact are assessed and controls are established prior to implementation
  • Ensure all hazards are identified and risks are proactively assessed
  • Monitor incident trends and assist management in conducting incident investigations to implement robust corrective actions to prevent future incidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular EHSS management reviews with Client Leadership


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of experience supporting fleet safety programs

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience supporting fleet safety programs

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of experience supporting fleet safety programs

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience supporting fleet safety programs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of experience supporting fleet safety programs. Experience managing EHSS program(s) at a site, region, or corporate level.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical sales fleet
  • Experience implementing and managing a fleet telematics program
  • Experience supporting company vehicle selection programs
  • Demonstrated ability to influence management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, action oriented, self-starting, program development and project management
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems
