Summary:
Regeneron is looking for an Associate Director of U.S. Market Access Strategy for Dupixent (dupilumab) in the immunology therapeutic area. This individual must be able to develop and implement product launch strategies and tactics to secure and maintain optimal reimbursement and market access for the atopic dermatitis indication.
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to new indications development, price and contracting strategy, payer value proposition development, payer positioning and message development, stakeholder engagement planning, channel distribution strategy, patient and physician services coordination, HEOR and public affairs alignment.
Duties will include working closely with the Senior Director Market Access, alliance business partners and cross-functional staff including brand marketing, health outcomes, medical and market research, trade, account management and new product development to ensure market access strategic alignment with business partner projects and to gain input on payer work-streams.

As a U.S. market access strategy team member for dupilumab, the Associate Director will work closely with global counterparts and contribute to ex-U.S. informational exchanges, project collaborations and annual business planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Senior Director, Market Access, the Associate Director will:
  • Be the market access lead for one of the immunology indications.
  • Develop, implement and / or align the annual strategic and tactical business plan for US and Global markets
  • Implement both short-term and long-term payer / HTA strategies and tactics while supporting in concert with developing and executing tactics to support marketing efforts
  • Work closely with the Alliance Value and Access partners to identify opportunities, implement existing tactics and achieve access goals
  • Lead payer and key stakeholder market access research initiatives
  • Lead the development and implementation of indication initiatives including the Value and Access dossier, field training and pull through programs, clinical and economic customer education materials, and market access programs
  • Develop field-level data tools and analytic capabilities to enhance local business planning and execution effectiveness
  • Manage promotional budgets, and develop metrics to measure ROI against key initiatives
  • Manage internal processes such as promotional review committee submissions, and advisory board coordination.


Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Minimum
  • MBA/MHA or other graduate level program such as PharmD preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of ten to fourteen years of experience working for a pharmaceutical manufacturer, or equivalent pharmaceutical experience; experience in payer account management, payer marketing or HEOR highly desirable.
  • Direct experience working for a managed care health plan or PBM preferred.
  • Should have strong knowledge of the payer and HTA landscape and current trends.
  • Experience in dermatology or allergy helpful.
  • Experience in specialty products and specialty product launches required.
  • Knowledge of patient / physician hub services and specialty pharmacy networks a plus.
  • Experience working in a JV or alliance role preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence / lobby internal and affiliate decision-makers.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills needed.
  • Excellent clinical, financial, and analytical skills and acumen essential.
Travel: Located out of Sleepy Hollow, NY and up to 30% travel including some international trips.
