The Associate Director, Executive Recruiting will help build and execute the recruiting strategies for Regeneron's Senior Leadership roles. This individual will be responsible for developing and cultivating talent pipelines, executive candidates and manage internal relationships. They will generate, attract and assess prospective candidates while becoming a respected talent adviser in partnership with our business leaders and the broader Talent Acquisition and HR team.

The incumbent will have a thorough understanding of Regeneron's business strategy, employer value proposition and talent management goals in order to deliver results. This role will work across multiple internal business units and must build rapport with all stakeholders, including: employees, hiring managers and organization leaders, the executive candidate market / talent pools, search firm partnerships and academic collaborators.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Talent Acquisition & HR Leadership and with senior management to drive executive recruitment strategies

• Establish and develop effective working relationships with HR business partners and senior business leaders to manage the executive recruitment process with the goal to meet short-term and long-term talent planning and gap strategies.

• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on talent in a competitive landscape

• Lead with high integrity. Ensure recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate consideration and fair selection programs are adhered to.

• Think strategically, analytically and objectively and translate talent data into actionable insights, strategies and action plans.

• Be viewed as an expert and key partner to functional business and HR leaders on emerging staffing trends and workforce analytics.

• Maintain and manage strong high-level professional networks, industry knowledge and research skills to identify key talent

• Monitor talent trends and market dynamics to inform our workforce and talent executive search strategy

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, connecting between business strategy and talent strategy to support short and long-term business objectives

• Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers and critical stakeholders, operating as trusted adviser and subject matter expert

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree strongly preferred with 12+ years of extensive experience in recruitment with 6+ years in executive search and placement

• Experience with executive recruitment in the Biopharmaceutical industry is required

• Excellent understanding of the external talent landscape

• Clear and effective communication skills with creative approaches to stakeholder management.

• Proven experience in working directly with Senior Leaders and key external stakeholders

• Strong communication and relationship development skills

• Proven success of maintaining long-standing executive relationships

• Demonstrated strategic agility, influencing and organizational savvy

• Strong functional expertise including behavioral/ competency based interviewing experience and the ability to work through the full recruitment cycle
