Job Summary

This position will lead a small team of model-based drug development/Clinical Pharmacology scientists in support of our AML portfolio in Cancer Enterprise (CE) drug development and commercialization activities. This position will be accountable for the model-based drug development (MBDD) plans and deliverables across the AML. The individual may also act as an individual contributor on advanced programs.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic leadership and functional management of MBDD drug development scientists supporting AML portfolio objectives
2. Responsible for quality of MBDD plans and for quality and timeliness of team deliverables
3. Responsible for creating and maintaining internal and external networks to support MBDD Objectives
4. May act as an individual contributor on programs within the AML portfolio.

Qualifications

Education
  • PhD, PharmD, or MD with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience or equivalent
Experience
  • Proficiency in quantitative analyses (including population PK, PK/PD, exposure-response, and drug-disease modeling) and clinical trial simulations
  • Prior experience in applying model-based drug development principles to clinical development programs in multiple therapeutic areas
  • In depth knowledge of pharmacometrics tools and techniques
  • In depth knowledge of clinical pharmacology
  • Experience in Oncology desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and planning skills, and proven collaboration skills and leadership ability.
