These positions are in our Embryology & IVF department in Tarrytown, New York. There are 2 openings for Summer 2020. Each opening is described below.

Position 1:
The student will have an opportunity to join Regeneron's VelociGene group during an internship and contribute to our program in developing CRISPR based therapeutics. This position involves working with our ongoing research to translate in vitro CRISPR technologies to in vivo editing in the mouse. This individual will have the opportunity to learn CRISPR gene editing along with molecular and cell biology techniques. The work will be performed either in cell culture or in vivo delivery in the mouse. The candidate for this will also learn to correctly document the results, analyze the data, and communicate the results clearly and concisely. The candidate is expected to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Position 2:

The candidate for this will also learn to correctly document the results, analyze the data, and communicate the results clearly and concisely. The candidate is expected to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Position 1:

• Must have a high school diploma

• Must be pursuing a degree in a Biology related feild

• Experience with computer systems, especially Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Submission Viewer systems.

• Knowledge of eCTD submission structures and of submission document contents would be most helpful.

Position 2:

• Must be enrolled at university as a sophomore or above

• Must be pursuing a degree in Biochemical Engineering

• The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and word processing skills.

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project

Transportation and Housing:

• Housing stipend available for those students who meet mileage requirements

• A free shuttle is offered from the North White Plains or Tarrytown train stations to the Tarrytown, NY or Sleepy Hollow, NY campuses
