Summary:
The Project Manager, Commercial Training leads and facilitates end-to-end delivery of complex and large scale activities for the Commercial Training & Development team through successful project management, planning and execution. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Training and Development, this role will drive our team's success by managing all workstreams that touch sales and clinical training, management and leadership development initiatives, as well as learning management systems (LMS) platforms. This role will exhibit exceptional collaboration skills with critical stakeholders across Marketing, Sales Leadership, Market Access and other cross functional departments in order to develop standard process and procedures for the training team. Key Job Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Manages and leads deployment of training tools via LMS, Brainshark, MasterControl and/or other learning technologies required for the commercial stakeholders. This role will also serve as the training team's point with IT by ensuring a smooth transition to a new LMS and intranet portal in 2020
  • Onboarding
    • Serves as an ambassador of the organization by leading onboarding of commercial employees. This will include creating an onboarding roadmap and project plan, and communicating their requirements and materials
  • Communications
    • Responsible for monitoring training projects' status and schedules through facilitating team communications, maintaining and tracking cross-functional timelines, deliverables, and milestones. Ensure project schedules, resources, and underlying assumptions are integrated and aligned across functions and communicated to leadership team. Works closely with CT&D lead to manage agenda for training staff and partner meetings. Manages and influences all commercial training activities and department calendar related to all new hire training, major meetings and all other training initiatives
  • Vendor Management
    • Project management lead with agency and vendor relationships; manage timelines and processes from initial proposal to workshop execution. This also includes working closely with the brand trainers to manage the internal review process for all training materials
  • Budget/Contracting
    • Manages the $1.6M budget for the CT&D team, including organizing and submitting vendor SOWs and purchase orders; and provides regular updates and tracking to the team
  • Commercial Processes
    • Proactively establishes and maintains highly organized filing system for training materials and other department records. Serves as Training team lead on company-wide Learning Alliance team, designed to optimize resources and solicit new training mechanisms across the organization

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent work experience OR Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of project management or related experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient on Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
