Job Details
Operations is one of three foundational functions at Amgen with a mission to manufacture and deliver safe and effective medicine to patients around the world. The organization is spread across eight sites and divided into five functions: Global Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Amgen FUEL FOL Rotational Program is pivotal in developing operations leadership of the future. Assignments are based on business needs as well as program participant's development interests. Because Amgen is a global organization, we look for individuals who are comfortable working in both the U.S. and international work sites. These assignments are in-depth experiences that allow the staff member to sharpen skills, understand the different aspects of our operations, and demonstrate abilities to a broad range of managers. Many Operations assignments are based in either Cambridge, MA, Rhode Island area, at our corporate headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California, or Puerto Rico. Past international assignment locations have included Ireland, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
The rotation assignments requires that the candidate be geographically flexible for this assignment.

Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in final year of a fulltime MIT-LGO MBA Program
Scheduled to graduate no later than summer 2020
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in current program
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biology, Science, Business
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous project management experience
Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory policies
Strong analytical/quantitative skills
Ability to conduct research
Self-starter with interpersonal skills
Team player
Strong communication skills
Ability to take on several projects at one time
