This position is in our Treasury department within Financial Services in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

This student will be exposed to all areas within the Treasury function: Liquidity, Treasury Operations and Risk Management. Various projects within each group include:

Liquidity
- Analysis of Investment Portfolio, including investment guidelines, internal portfolio and investment managers
- Support development and enhancement of desk procedures of various processes
- Leverage Bloomberg to create value add reporting and analysis to support decision making
- Understand Cash Forecasting process and conduct analysis as needed

Treasury Operations
- Learn the daily cash management process - daily reconciliation and GL application, cash positioning including payments and receipts overview.
- Learn Corporate banking resolutions, bank account & system access management including the legal entity structure and bank account structure of Regeneron
- Understand the Complianceprocesses (Investments, SOC, SOX, FBAR and IT System Security)

Risk Management
- Assistance with claims analysis, modeling and reporting
- Leverage Bloomberg to help enhance the Trade Credit Process

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's

• Must be pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint), Bloomberg or Reuters experience is a plus. Basic understanding of financial statements

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project

Transportation and Housing:

• Housing stipend available for those students who meet mileage requirements

• A free shuttle is offered from the North White Plains or Tarrytown train stations to the Tarrytown, NY or Sleepy Hollow, NY campuses
