Job Summary:

Responsible for the short- and long-term operational administration of Daiichi Sankyo's incentive compensation program, supporting all Sales and Managed Markets sales forces. The manager collaborates with the Senior Director of Decision Support & Sales Incentives and Incentive Compensation personnel to design and flawlessly execute the final and approved design of all IC core plans brand contests and other annual initiatives for approximately 900 plan participants. The manager will be responsible for the documentation of all quality control procedures and policies, ensuring they are up to date and that all applicable parties have been communicated to. In addition, the position is responsible for the timely documentation and communication of all Incentive Compensation plan narratives. Translates company objectives and works with third party vendors to develop, test and implement Incentive Compensation business tactics. Maintains high quality and timely output of all Incentive Compensation deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Senior Director of Decision Support & IC to manage the relationship with third-party vendors to ensure the timely processing of data and overall integrity of the output. Works with senior sales management in both Sales and Marketing and Sales to continually improve IC design through statistical analysis of plans. Special projects as assigned by Senior Director of Decision Support & IC.

Manages the activities related to the operations supporting all field sales incentive plans. Determines that files used for Incentive Compensation inputs have passed all quality checks and ensures the timely and accurate calculation of payments as well as distribution of incentive reports and statements.

Oversees the prioritization of field inquiries, corresponding data investigations, and ad-hoc analyses. Ensures timely communication of the resolutions and results. Identifies trends and develops corrective action plans.

The manager will provide input to the field sales incentive compensation plan design process, including national contests. Evaluates plan performance on an ongoing basis to ensure objectives are met-may recommend plan adjustments based upon outcome of periodic review.

Collaborates with other Sales Operations disciplines (i.e. Sales Administration, SFA, DSS) to institute appropriate quality control measures throughout all sales incentive and data processes. Ensures data inputs from other areas (Data Governance, HR, etc) are provided in an accurate and timely fashion.

Increases awareness and understanding among plan participants through formal documentation and a communication program. Coordinates with the DSI training department to present the Incentive Compensation plan to all newly hired sales employees.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

B.S. in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred

A minimum of 5 years' experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales and/or Commercial Operations. Pharmaceutical IC experience preferred. Pharmaceutical IC experience preferred.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in SAS, Pyton or similar analytics software required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Decision support tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, SAP) preferred.
Proficiency with VBA preferred but not required

Travel: 10-15% of time
