Summary:
Lead all aspects of Systems capability strategy, delivery, and services for the following Global Development functions - Precision Medicine & Early Clinical, Global Clinical Operations, Biostats and Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance & Risk Management, Development Program Management and Medical Affairs. Responsible for understanding business strategies, aligning Systems capabilities to those strategies, and delivering technology capabilities that create business value. Identify and implement innovative technologies and services to enable delivery of the Global Development portfolio. Drive initiatives to integrate data and promote continuous improvement of data quality.

Responsibilities:

• Align Systems and service strategies with business goals and objectives to insure business outcomes are realized.

• Accountable for ensuring that solutions and services deliver expected business value.

• Ensure that the Systems organization is structured and resourced to reliably support daily operations. Continuously improve the efficiency of the group.

• Promote opportunities for applying technology to business problems; champion introduction of new or enhanced tools and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity of Global Development.

• Promote innovation through internal and external partnerships and novel use of technologies

• Integrate data in Global Development and identify sources of data to be utilized throughout.

• Bring awareness of new technology and products to the business supporting business reengineering as needed.

• Own governance to ensure proper business casing and prioritization take place across the portfolio

• Ensure that initiatives align with overall architecture and IT strategy

• Manage budgets and finances

• Participate in industry groups and forums.
Requirements:

Qualified candidates should have BS/BA Degree with 15+ years relevant experience. MS degree and 12+ years relevant experience. Candidates should have an expertise in Clinical Drug Development systems and leading the oversite of IT systems and processes.
Additionally, candidates should have displayed expertise in the following competencies:
