Summary:
This role offers the opportunity to join the FP&A team at Regeneron as a Financial Analyst supporting the General and Administrative (G&A) departments at Regeneron. The Analyst will act in a financial support role for several G&A functions, most notably Information Technology, Financial Services, Corporate Communications and Strategy, Business Development, and Investor Relations.

The Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts by working closely with the G&A Finance team. In addition, the Analyst will analyze actual to budget variances, prepare monthly reporting packages, and assist the team with ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

The Financial Analyst will assist the G&A Finance team with forecast and budget data inputs and identify and implement continuous process improvements within the G&A Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with G&A Finance team to prepare informed annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts

• Prepare and present analyses, forecasts and reports to support decision making

• Forecast expenses and track and analyze results

• Structure and perform analysis and conduct research to uncover insights to help drive business decisions

• Provide analytical explanation of actual to budget variances for the G&A departments

• Supports other general and administrative departments with ad-hoc financial analyses as needed

• Identify and implement continuous process improvements within the G&A Finance team

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required

• One to three plus years of financial experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Charts, Functions & Formulas

• Demonstrates understanding of Finance and P&L statements

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint

• Experience with a planning tool such as Hyperion Planning is a plus

• Experience with reporting and dashboard tools is a plus (Hyperion, Qlik, Cognos)

• Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills

• Must be able to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment

• Intellectually curious

• Ability to make sense of and interpret transactional data

• Organized and able to independently prioritize tasks and carry through on executing those tasks

• Strong communication skills

• Team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
