Summary:
This is a new Executive administrative position for one of our fastest growing teams at Regeneron in Aging/Age-Related Disorders. This role primarily supports the Vice President, but will also need to work with and support the new team. This individual will also help with the Postdoctoral Fellowship program. Helps prioritize and manage the calendar and time commitments for the VP, and helps drive clear, concise communication and commitments between the VP, his department, Senior Management and partners with the assistants across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manages calendars using thorough understanding of department and leadership priorities. Ability to anticipate the needs of leaders and teams in order to manage and problem solve all logistics with a larger scope and greater impact if scheduling conflicts occur.

• Manages calls, business travel, expenses, interview schedules and any other activities of the VP.

• Professionally handle and manage highly-confidential work for the department and its leader.

• Manage and drive communications pertaining to meetings, calls, documents, travel, etc.

• Handle critical and sensitive projects and meetings on a daily basis, smoothly and efficiently, receiving little direction.

• Collaborate with Senior Management, Program Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Legal, Facilities and other Assistants on current company priority projects.

• Takes the lead on the preparation and assimilation for new leaders within the department(s), including coordination with IT, Facilities, and Procurement. Assists VP with department space planning and may assist in headcount tracking.

• Display advanced knowledge of company policies, procedures and resources and acts as a point person for leader(s)/department(s) taking the lead to raise potential continuous improvement efforts to current processes. Connects with the proper departments to share findings and may work with teams on obtaining new solutions. Actively manages department contact lists/org charts. Proactively manages and updates content on department SharePoint sites and/or RON pages.

• Handle all logistics for any onsite or offsite meetings for the SVP and the department

• May order supplies & catering for key meetings then procure approvals & payments as needed.
Requirements:
Education

• AA degree or BA/BS preferred.
Experience
10 plus years, with at least 6 of those 10 years working within the biotech, academia, biopharma or pharmaceutical companies and for executive management
