The Global HR Service & Ops organization continues to transform and innovate how we enable Regeneron's talent globally.

We are seeking an Associate Director of HR Operational Excellence and Transformation to build a team who will establish HR Operational Excellence globally. The right candidate will be well versed in executing transformational change initiatives across an HR organization utilizing proven process excellence methodologies. Must be a high-energy, self-starter with an established, documented competence in Process Excellence and HR Transformation. Experience in deploying processes within a Shared Service Model including technology deployments for case management systems and HRIS is preferred. Incumbent must have business acumen and understand the HR business landscape. Proven track record and significant experience in having contributed to HR Transformation in a complex global environment with proven Six Sigma Process Excellence skills.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing the Operational Excellence functionality within Global HR Service & Operations.

• Provides leadership and execution of establishing, harmonizing, documenting and streamlining global HR processes.

• Strategic application of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to an HR portfolio of services on a continuous improvement and transformational change level.

• Ensures process documentation, work instructions, call center scripts and all other supporting documentation is developed in preparation to successfully launch the Global HR Service Centers

• HR Transformation Thought Leadership: Identifies the types of work activities and assignments required to deliver HR services that positively impact the 'employee experience.' Assesses fit for culture alignment and HR delivery approaches. Recommends best fit and manages the transformation / changes on how work gets done across HR. Assists with design of service delivery models

• Business Value Realization. Identifies and prioritizes business value and the results of making the changes. Evaluates outcomes based on metrics; establishes baseline and tracks progress. Promotes proactive advances to increase efficiency from systems and tools.

• Leadership for change and strategic alignment: As a member of the Global HR Service & Operations leadership team, partners with leaders to assess and prioritize focus areas, investments, projects, and mentoring across HR teams. Leads process development discussions and influences decisions in collaboration with the HR Leaders, Finance, IT and OE teams, solving for employees, business leaders, customers, and stakeholders.

• Process Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Responsible for both doing (hands-on) and building skill for improvement activities including Process Analysis, Process Management, Process Improvement, and Process Leadership utilizing commonly understood and proven Six Sigma and related process improvement and innovation skills including DMAIC, DMADV, TPS, Design Thinking, etc. Implements and administers HR Programs, Policies, and Practices pertaining to HR Processes.

• Operations Leadership: This role is a hands-on leader in the Global HR Service & Operations team. As operational work is defined from across the HR Organization, the Associate Director of HR Process Excellence and Transformation may take on additional responsibilities to build and maintain certain "specialty operations" within the team. He/She may oversee a team of individual contributing associates. Establishes objectives and works plans along with proposing strategies to Head of Global HR Service and Operations.

Requirements:

• 12+ years' experience in HR Operational role or equivalent which includes a minimum 5 years' experience leading business transformations or working in process improvement and/or change management roles with strong focus on driving for results. At least 2+ years experience in managing diverse staff in a highly dynamic environment.

• Able to develop solutions to unusually complex problems which may serve as precedent for future decisions. Must have experience with various problem-solving methodologies; both small and large scale business transformation, and process design

• Works effectively with cross functional teams and leaders

• Financial acumen and ability to develop compelling analyses, proposals, and business cases - tying operating metrics to all three stakeholders: employees, business leaders, customers, and stakeholders

• Leadership/multi-level communications and influencing skills

• Includes ability to present effectively to various audiences

• Act as an effective facilitator in discussions, meetings and workshop settings.

• Preferred: Global Experience, Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma

• Expert level Visio, Excel and Power Point.
