Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst-Demand Planning supports the demand planning team in analyzing demand information.

Level to be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Reviews incoming forecasts to verify that all required information is correctly entered.

• Reconciles orders against forecast; generates reports of orders coming due based on forecasts.

• Creates tabulated summaries of demands on monthly basis.

• Collects & organizes data for Demand Planning monthly metrics as well as Demand Dashboards; creates charts for trending and forecast comparisons.

• Creates tables to summarize Clinical Study details and Commercial Demand Assumptions.

• Creates and publishes metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness.

• Accurately produces regular metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that drive positive results.

• Assists in the administration of demand planning software; works closely with database business analysts to ensure Demand Planning's data requirements are being met within the system.

• Analyzes historical data to build the correct regression models to develop long term demands and risk adjusted models.

• Works with cross-functional teams on Demand Planning to ensure effective and discipline information is brought into demand planning systems.

• Develops, tests and implements statistical forecasting models using raw forecasting data.

• Creates queries and reports to aid Demand Planning managers in highlighting demand risks.

• Assists in the maintenance of key planning attributes such as gram conversion tables.

• Develops work instructions for new systems and processes.

• Actively seeks creative supply solutions to optimize Demand Planning.

• Works closely with internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate, to manage Demand Planning process and align with the company's overall objectives and timelines.

• Facilitates clinical demand process discussions and improvement initiatives.

• Takes action and escalates proactively.

• Represents a professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with co-workers, members, and suppliers.

• Promotes the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.

• Embraces and promotes the IOPS culture of Teamwork, Trust, Transparency, Drive and Respect.

• Other duties as assigned.

• The position can require domestic U.S. travel and potential international travel up to approximately 10% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expert in MS Excel.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle and Access Database.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Attention to detail, fact-based, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to apply mathematical and statistical theory to develop forecasting models.

• Basic understanding of SQL databases and their applications.

Education and Experience

Assoc Supply Chain Analyst

• Requires Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background and 0-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Analyst

• BS/BA in business, industrial engineering or scientific discipline and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to communicate at all levels and across various functions

Sr Analyst

• BS/BA in business or scientific discipline and 5+ years of related experience.

• Previous work experience in a demand planning analytics role is required.

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
