We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Manager or Senior Manager on the Biometrics Project Management team.You will work with the Biometrics team to support our efforts in this exciting new area of cancer immunotherapy. This role will be a hands-on resource reporting to the Associate Director, Biometrics Project Management.

The Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for detailing timelines and coordinating critical path activities for Biometrics projects, deliverables, internal timelines, and interactions with non-Biometrics functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES - include but are not limited to:
  • Support Biometrics team members and empower them to complete deliverables efficiently and effectively
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders from project initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timeline, resources, and objectives
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, to monitor and track project progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and dashboards
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Lead and manage project team meetings. Prepare agenda, minutes, and action items.
  • Identify project risks with team and functional areas; implements corrective action
  • Direct project communications and ensure that all stakeholders and senior leaders are fully informed and knowledgeable of project activities and their status
  • Maintain a standard set of practices, processes, and templates for managing projects consistently and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain collaborative work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate project related issues, as appropriate
  • Has a flexible attitude and is willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs


REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in project management working in a scientific field or equivalent experience in association with Biometrics, Translational Sciences, R&D project teams, and cross-functional project management activities

• Bachelor's degree in scientific or technical field (Master's degree a plus)

• Must have understanding of research and drug development process

• Extensive experience in applying principles, concepts, practices, and standards of pharmaceutical project management

• Demonstrate experience in managing and supporting highly complex multiple projects simultaneously

• Self-motivated, proactive, responsive, and has the ability to understand and pick things up quickly. Excellent organization and planning skills.

• Must exhibit high emotional intelligence, with demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively, facilitate discussions, and successfully negotiate through challenging situations and difficult conversations

• Must be a team player, focusing on shared goals, being flexible and applying skills where required. Respecting others, listening to others' views and value others' contribution.

• Ability to problem solve and delegate appropriate tasks to collaborators and follow-up as needed to meet deadlines

• Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment

• In-depth user experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)

• Must be able to work under minimal supervision, determine personal work plan, and schedule tasks and activities

• Must be comfortable and efficient in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment
