The laboratory of Dr. Lennart Mucke at the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease is located at San Francisco’s burgeoning Mission Bay Campus. Requirements

Qualifications

• A B.S. or a M.S. degree with several years of experience in a neurobiology research laboratory
• Demonstrated independence in experimental design, execution, data analysis and troubleshooting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to effectively collaborate with scientific teams and administrative departments to achieve shared goals
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a proficiency in writing detailed technical documentations
• Experience in the preparation and submission of protocols and applications to institutional regulatory departments (animal care and use, biosafety, etc.) is desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing software such as Graph Pad and Microsoft office for data analysis and figure generation
• Experience with statistics and bioinformatics tools
• Experience in working with mouse and cell culture models
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and record keeping skills

Title and salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
