Job Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing and overseeing DSI's talent management programs including workforce planning, performance management and succession planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Understands the DSI People Strategy and ensures talent management strategy and programs are aligned with the People Strategy and DSI business objectives
  • Sponsors an at least annual workforce planning process across the enterprise to ensure short, medium and long term talent needs are being identified and action plans created
  • Develops, implements and refines organization wide and function specific competency frameworks that set out the expectations and behavioral and skill requirements for respective levels of employees at DSI
  • Integrates those frameworks into talent management processes and works with others in HR to implement them into Rewards and Talent Acquisition programs as appropriate
  • Develops and implements assessment techniques designed to give actionable developmental feedback to employees and their managers
  • Works with HRBPs and others to define DSI talent needs and partners with other colleagues in Learning and Development and elsewhere in HR to ensure those needs are met collaboratively
  • Ensures that talent programs are managed cost effectively and are aligned with competitive benchmarks
  • Ensures DSI HR technology strategy includes appropriate Talent Management support elements but consistent with overall budget limitations
  • Manages team of talent professionals that are assigned to execute on specific talent management programs

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred

Experience:
  • 10+ years of talent or other relevant HR experience
  • Experience in a management or supervisory position
  • Ability to translate business strategy and operational plans into actionable workforce and talent management plans and programs
  • Expertise in talent management practices, including performance management, succession management and workforce planning
  • Experience implementing and/or utilizing talent management technology
  • Ability to make data-driven and strategic decisions
  • Experience managing a group of individuals
