Job Summary
Responsible for leading the HR Business Partner team

Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the HR Business Partner team and attracting, developing and retaining people in the team and supporting them in the execution of the following functions:

• Understands and is clearly able to articulate the financial and scientific elements of the Daiichi Sankyo business strategy
• Understands and uses analytics to identify the business needs and priorities and the associated talent trends, challenges and opportunities
• Provides direct feedback and input to the rest of HR on business specific priorities to inform the development of HR's processes and programs
• Effectively implements the Daiichi Sankyo people strategy
• In partnership with senior leaders accountable for building a diverse talent pipeline for critical roles
• Provides expert advice and support for organization design and change management to senior business leaders
• Builds the Daiichi Sankyo workforce plan to increase the skills, engagement and productivity of the workforce to meet current and future business needs
• Establishes standard practices, tools and methods that HRBPs use in providing consultation for senior business leaders
• Ensures a consistent approach to all talent processes (performance management, talent management, learning & development, succession planning) is applied across business areas
• Ensures all transactional questions are directed to the Solution Delivery team
• Full member of the HR Leadership Team, shaping our HR strategy and leading the HR function and ensuring the efficient and effective use of all HR's resources

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred
Experience:

• 15+ years experience either in a business partner type role elsewhere or consulting
• 5+ years experience in pharma and/or bio-tech industries
• Broad HR knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing direct reports

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of business strategy and people strategy
• Understands the DSI portfolio of medicines and the process to discover, develop and commercialize them
• Ability to use critical thinking to identify key issues and interdependencies amongst functions
• Strong consulting expertise
• Expertise in human capital analytics
• Experience managing team of people
• Knowledge of key trends in the HR space
• Expertise in talent management, change management, OD and workforce planning
