Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate HR Systems and Solutions. The Senior Associate HR Systems & Solutions will report to the Principal HR Systems & Solutions and will work out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a significant impact at one of the world's leading biotechnology companies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Under limited supervision, maintain configuration for Workday HCM/Recruiting/Onboarding/Compensation/Talent/Time and Absence/Security and other modules as needed
  • Create and maintain audit reports for data integrity for Workday
  • Perform unit testing for all Workday system enhancements, break fix and maintenance items
  • General Workday system error processing
  • Populate, audit, review and develop EIBs.
  • Verify and evaluate incoming support and enhancement requests from supported organizations
  • Gather additional information and perform troubleshooting on a ticket by ticket basis
  • Create internal support tickets into online project management systems
  • Update and maintain tickets and provide timely communication to reported users on progress of work
  • Log tickets with Workday Support Center and perform follow up in support of other team leads on the progress of their items
  • Provide project support for configuration to other team leads in support of ongoing initiatives for external business clients
  • Be an active participant in the Workday Community
  • Support Principal HR System and Solutions manager with progress reports and updates on projects assigned to broader team for use in leadership meetings
  • Perform light reporting using the Workday Reporting module

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

Or

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Human Resources and/or Systems experience

Or

Associate's degree and 6 years of Human Resources and/or Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Human Resources and/or Systems experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of business process administration, staffing transactions and Workday system maintenance for multiple modules in Workday
  • Willingness to learn new modules and technologies as needed to support the changing organization
  • Perform testing support to other team leads during projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent phone presence
