Responsibilities:

Join the fast-growing Rheumatology Business Unit and become a key member of the team to drive franchise growth with the re-launch of KRYSTEXXA, a recently acquired orphan biologic for uncontrolled gout. Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the execution of key strategies within the professional marketing team to reach both target and referral physician audiences
  • Work closely with brand team to develop and execute referral messaging, marketing initiatives and marketing materials to educate
  • Support the development of digital assets and tools and implement with the digital agency
  • Manage external partners (ad agency, meeting planners, market research, consultants) to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, message and tactics
    Ensure timeliness of deliverables

    Manage budget and scope of projects

    Negotiate with vendors and drive optimal value for brand
  • Manage convention communication strategies for rheumatology business unit including creation and coordination exhibits and value-added conference tools
  • Leverage business insights and expert feedback to provide active input into the development and review of brand strategy, tactical plans and the financial plan
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the uncontrolled gout and rheumatology competitive activity and market dynamics
  • Ensure that marketing materials meet brand & regulatory guidelines


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • BA/BS in related field. MBA a plus.
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing/sales preferably in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry.
  • Rheumatology or other specialty IV biologic or other specialty marketing or sales experience, preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors.
  • Must have strong project management, communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute on the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaign.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for promotional materials
  • Work well with others in a very fast-paced environment
  • Requires approximately 25 % travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments
  • Strong interpersonal skills
