The Finance Supervisor reports to the Director, Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis and supports key workstreams associated with AbbVie's quarterly earnings calls, Board of Directors packages, and Entity Plan. You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners within Finance and will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with leaders in Corporate Financial Reporting and AFP&A to prepare financials for the earnings package used by AbbVie Executives / Investor Relations during quarterly earnings calls.
  • Provide Investor Relations analytics to AbbVie FP&A to support board package publications.
  • Support the Associate Director with entity forecast consolidation and modeling for Plan / LBE / LRP, including Intercompany Reconciliations, Deferred Margin analysis and Performance vs Entity reconciliation.
  • Entity Planning TM1 cube administrator, including actuals tie-out from HFM, ensuring consistency of hierarchies, and coordinating user access requests.
  • Entity Planning SharePoint site administrator, including calendar administration, contact list maintenance, links, and information updates from Accounting, Treasury, and Tax.
  • Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles, Growth Metrics, ATO financial support) as required.


Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably across a range of Finance functions.
  • Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner.
  • Ability meet tight deadlines while balancing contending priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and build relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP, HFM and TM1 a plus.
