Summary:
The Research Program Management group is seeking a program manager with a passion for technology development and drug discovery to support several internal technology teams. The PM will use scientific expertise and project management skills to build cross-functional teams bridging Regeneron's Internal Technologies to the Research Therapeutic Focus Areas. The successful PM will provide operational and scientific guidance to drive deliverables and advance the preclinical pipeline. Example internal technologies include oligonucleotide-based therapeutics, next generation bispecific antibodies, and therapeutic development relevant to aging.

Responsibilities:
Drug and/or Technology Discovery & Development:
Using knowledge in drug discovery and technology development, works with cross-functional teams to achieve key program objectives. In collaboration with other senior group members, formulates criteria for advancing the program deliverables.

Process and Data Management:
Provides overall support to multiple functional and technology areas to advance projects including meeting scheduling, recording meeting minutes and actions, and working with colleagues to create templates and best practices. Manages and updates tools that allow for program and project tracking and sharing of data/metrics (e.g. SharePoint).

Team Management:
Develops good communication and working relationships with department leaders, line managers, and individuals within each functional group. Ensures effective, accurate, appropriate and timely communication across functional areas to advance the desired project/program goals.

Problem Solving:
Identifies opportunities and develops tools and mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving within the function or department.

Planning & Tracking:
Develops, maintains and updates integrated project plans relevant to team objectives and ensures alignment across functions and with management. Maintains knowledge of key data and milestones for assigned projects and serves as a key contact for information and updates. Provides project summaries and general guidelines to support presentations to senior management and collaborators as needed.
Requirements:
PhD with of a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a BS/MS with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in technology and drug discovery and development.

• The successful candidate demonstrates excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, is action oriented, organized and has basic knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as they apply to the life sciences.

• Is able to use previous hands-on experience and technical knowledge in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field to effectively support cross-functional project teams.

• Understands and listens to team members and fosters a productive team environment.

• Encourages constructive interactions among team members in order to address difficult situations.

• Resolves and negotiates conflicts or problems with tact, diplomacy and composure.

• Handles multiple projects and priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
