Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety reviews and interprets adverse event data and assures global timely reporting of adverse events (AE's) to regulators worldwide. Responsibilities include all administrative functions of the department: answering phones, handling calendars, scheduling travel, leading correspondence and scheduling couriers, processing expense reports, planning meetings/events, creating or revising business documents, preparing presentations from source materials, handling teleconference, Web Ex and Blackberry/iPhone setups, handling billing, compiling meeting materials and other similar matters

  • Strong customer service skills and work ethic, demonstrated by accountability and the ability to work independently toward a common goal
  • Advanced-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Travel and Expense Reporting, Purchasing Applications and WebEx
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Frequently handle confidential and business-sensitive information
  • Comfortable interacting with high-level executives and their administrative staff
  • Team player and ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively identify and resolve department challenges

Basic:
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • 1+ years previous admin experience or equivalent
