This critical position is responsible for working as part of a team to develop and execute the U.S. healthcare provider (HCP) digital marketing plans and programs for Repatha® - a high priority brand for Amgen. This position will have the responsibility of collaborating on multiple initiatives from concept through execution to help drive new capabilities for brand success today and into the future. The Senior Marketing Associate will be responsible for the project management, implementation, analysis (including measurement and reporting) of a variety of online advertising, promotional and educational programs, including: websites, social, content strategy and production, search (paid and organic), online display advertising, social media channels, and CRM programs. This position will not be responsible for management of direct reports. However, it will require significant agency management and cross-functional team leadership.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Support digital programs to meet Brand objectives and drive adoption of new patients
  • Collaborate on content development and analytics for brand digital properties such as Websites, CRM, and social channels
  • Liaison with outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute projects
  • Champion continuous improvement and share best practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with key partners including: Consumer Marketing, Sales, Access, Corporate
  • Communications, Operational teams, and market research (CS&A) to ensure synergy with programming across all customers
  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant consumer communications
  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all
  • Domestic travel up to 15%.


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of marketing and/or sales experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience supporting or developing digital initiatives, such as: website, display, video, mobile, CRM, and social.
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, detail oriented and results-driven with solution-oriented mentality.
  • Creative and innovative, while also possessing analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with agencies and publishers to develop and produce engaging creative and media plans.
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise strong judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-awareness of leadership style.
  • Ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Proactive, results-oriented self-starter motivated by a challenging task.
