Summary:
The Project Associate, Research Program Management works with Research Program Management and broader Research teams to update and maintain research content and to manage request submissions and tracking lists. These efforts will support new technology development and the advancement of drug discovery and development projects through the pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Drug and/or Technology Discovery & Development:
Uses knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and immunology to interpret, categorize, and organize key data and information into tracking tools and document management systems (e.g. SharePoint).
Process and Data Management:
Submits, manages, and tracks cloning and other workflow requests to generate program-specific reagents and lead candidates during the discovery process.
Team Management:
Provides overall support to multiple functional and technology areas to advance projects including meeting scheduling, recording meeting minutes and actions, and working with colleagues to create templates and best practices.
Problem Solving:
Identifies opportunities and develops tools and mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving within the function or department.
Planning & Tracking:
Utilizes project management techniques to identify, develop and maintain planning tools to facilitate standardization and coordination across multiple disciplines / programs. Develops good communication and working relationships with department leaders, line managers, and indiviudals within each functional group.
Requirements:
BS with 2+ years or MS / PhD with 0-2 years of relevant progressive project / program management experience in drug or technology discovery / development.
