The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst is responsible for assisting in Security related matters both locally and internationally. Analysts will work in a 24/7 control center environment while monitoring multiple screens. The Analyst will use a variety of tools including but not limited to alarm monitoring systems, access control, various intelligence sources, and in-house tools. The Analyst is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact AbbVie's people, assets, products, and reputation. These may range from local emergency response, technical failures, fire, extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror events, travel safety, etc.

• Assisting company employees in areas involving security.
• Monitoring various information sources to detect potential risks globally.
• Monitoring travel safety and security of company's employees.
• Investigating alarms and responding by sending security patrol personnel, or alerting emergency responders as needed.
• Creation and communication of advisories.
• Composing daily reports and documenting response activity.
• Utilizing procedures for managing a variety of incidents, ranging from local emergency response to global crises.
• Gather and prepare metrics on individual and team performance.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required.

• (Required) Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience within an aligned field.
• (Preferred) Bachelor's degree, experience in a Security Center (or similar environment).
• Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced and at times stressful work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player with interpersonal skill.
• Comfortable with high-tech work environment while regularly learning new tools and innovations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
