The Marketing Campaign Manager is a data driven reporting manager and is responsible for the delivery of marketing, operational and standard campaign reporting metrics for Omnichannel campaigns. These campaigns are deployed across the USBO (United States Business Organization) by Healthcare Professional (HCP), Consumer (DTC) and Access & Reimbursement marketers, utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. This lead interfaces broadly with the Data Driven Marketing Campaign Strategists, the Marketing Service Provider Reporting / Ad hoc Data Request Lead, the Marketing Data Hub team and Media Agency Reporting and Analytics teams. The deliverables of this role are to enable marketers to quickly analyze performance, targeting and segmentation data, operational metrics, standard campaign metrics and cross-channel metrics to optimize marketing investments and to advise creative with data driven personalization recommendations.

A proven understanding of marketing technology/databases and analytic tools will enable your success in this role. In addition, you will need SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) knowledge to execute day-to-day maintenance, configuration and customization of reporting requirements. This role will support campaign management requests for marketing data and campaign reporting channels for the purpose of campaign and creative asset optimization and personalization.

  • Facilitate and coordinate the design of SFMC reports, analytics, and dashboards
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems
  • Balance and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems
  • Strategy and design of reporting and analytics together with Amgen's media channel partners, media agencies, and campaign operations team
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes.
  • Build relationships and gather common reporting and analytics requirements across all HCP, DTC and V&A multi-channel marketers
  • Collaborate with key partners including HCP marketing, Access, Corporate Communications, Operational teams, and Business Analytics & Insight to ensure alignment with programming for healthcare professionals, customers, and consumers.
  • Review results across business units to compare similar activities from brand to brand and provide optimization recommendations
  • Lead external partners handling MCM reporting and analytics
  • Support test planning and execution of MCM and DTC measurement activity
  • Collect and analyze benchmark engagement metrics and standard methodologies across brands and channels

  • Weekly campaign metric updates to brands during weekly campaign meetings
  • Monthly activity tracking and campaign reporting across brands, business unit, and the US portfolio in partnership with Amgen's HCP and DTC Media Agencies of Record
  • Design and delivery of customized and Ad-hoc reporting requests from brands as needed
  • Quarterly business reviews to leadership of campaign execution and recommendations for optimization for each brand and where meaningful business unit and/or target audience

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree


Master's degree and 2 years of Sales Force Marketing Cloud experience


Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Sales Force Marketing Cloud experience


Associate's degree and 10 years of Sales Force Marketing Cloud experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales Force Marketing Cloud experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7 or more years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience (SFMC)
  • SFMC Email Certification,
  • SFMC Admin Certification
  • Google Analytics 360 Certification
  • Tableau Reporting experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Brand marketing or agency experience
  • Campaign management experience (DTC, HCP)
  • Channel management experience (email, direct mail, etc.)
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills-able to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Self-motivated, flexible, extraordinary teammate with proven time management & organization expertise with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects.
  • Strong consultative problem-solving skills
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment
  • 5+ years marketing analytics, consulting or business analytics experience in the biopharmaceutical or other healthcare industries
  • Experience with advanced spreadsheets, modeling software, reporting software, and database design
  • Broad, working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry secondary databases
