Purpose of the Position:

The HR department is seeking a junior Recruiter to join the growing Talent Acquisition department. As the Recruiter you will work in a fast pace environment working alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager to help attract, source and screen candidates for open positions.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiates contact with qualified candidates and provides pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, benefits, etc .for all temporary staffing need as well as other entry level/mid-level requisitions.
  • Reviews employment applications, resumes, and other credentials. Conducts phone screens, in-person interviews, and pre-employment assessments.
  • .Handles several aspects of the recruitment process including: sourcing, screening, handling the pre-employment process such as background checks, drug screens, etc.
  • Gather feedback from hiring team to ensure prompt correspondences with candidates.
  • Extends and negotiates offers of employment.
  • Partners with additional members of Talent Acquisition team to execute recruiting strategy.
  • Provides guidance and expertise of Recruiting tools (ATS, Interview Guides, etc.) to Hiring Manager as needed
  • Sources candidates through a variety of methods (job postings, employee referrals, job fairs, internet searches, public organizations, colleges & universities, networking, job boards, advertisements, etc.).
  • Maintains frequent contact with candidates during and after the interview in order to ensure candidates receive timely feedback.


Requirements:
  • BA/BS plus 1-5 years of experience in an HR capacity with a focus on recruitment efforts
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems is preferred
  • HR coordination experience is preferred
