The Large-Scale Manufacturing (MFG) department at our Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) site in Rensselaer, New York, utilizes a mechanical application of science in order to facilitate the manufacturing of biological products in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. The Large-Scale MFG department is seeking an enthusiastic intern to work directly with subject matter experts to observe and understand the scientific principles/processes associated with the manufacturing of Regeneron's biologics (including Eylea, Praluent, Kevzara and Dupixent) and evaluate how they are translated into procedures. Interns will work collaboratively and collectively to evaluate existing procedures utilized by Manufacturing personnel on a daily basis and propose improvements which will be incorporated in the training of employees. We will be looking for individuals with the ability to incorporate scientific principles into procedures by highlighted the "what, how, and why" behind manufacturing activities to drive operational consistency and efficiency. Candidate should be interested in getting experience with full-scale manufacturing operations, including aseptic manipulations, cell culture expansion, and purification processes through working on-the-floor in a clean room-environment.

Majors: BS in Biology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or similar discipline
