The Process Sciences Department supports commercial and clinical manufacturing operations with technical and scientific expertise, through process characterization, validation, investigations, and process data oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performs and completes scientific analyses and technical assessments and investigations

• Performs data aggregation and organization of datasets from a variety of sources

• Performs data analysis of results generated from laboratory-scale processes or manufacturing-scale processes using statistical tools to produce meaningful results

• Applies scientific principles to successfully complete assigned tasks

• Presents findings in poster or presentation format at group or interdepartmental meetings

• Participates in interdepartmental discussions

Desired Majors, Knowledge and Skills:

• Chemical or Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or applicable Life Sciences Curriculum

• General understanding of basic biology and chemistry concepts

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Knowledge of statistical analysis, word processing, spreadsheet, database management, graphing, and presentation programs

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to change

• Attention to detail

• Self-motivated learner with the ability to work independently and in a group setting
