Paragon Gene Therapy, in Baltimore, Harmans, Rockville, & Gaithersburg, Maryland, provides industry-leading GMP development and manufacturing services for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant viral vectors, next generation vaccines & hard-to-express recombinant proteins and oncolytic viruses.

The Associate Maintenance Planner will support the organizations Maintenance Planning activities through the scheduling of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Verify assets in maintenance software, Blue Mountain
  • Track all facility utilities preventive maintenance schedule and verify completion
  • Data entry (maintenance and calibration worksheets) into maintenance software, Blue Mountain
  • Ensure data entered Blue Mountain syncs with data entered in to the metrology software, ProCal
  • Enter data and information necessary for the scheduling of preventive maintenance and repair activities with cross functional groups including manufacturing operations, purchasing, materials management, maintenance personnel and maintenance management
  • Support the activity necessary for planning calibration and preventative maintenance of all GMP equipment, lab equipment, and utilities (WFI, RO/DI Water, Boilers, Compressed Gas, etc.)
  • Support the coordination of facilities activities during shutdowns
  • Edit and create department documentation from templates (Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations, and Change Control) and ensure approvals are complete
  • Interact with vendors to schedule work to be done including security, pest control, waste management, fire systems, and landscaping. This will require cross functional interactions to ensure building areas are available and general notification purposes

Experience and Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience with quality systems working in a GxP environment
  • Experience working within a facilities department and facilities coordination
  • Experience with maintenance systems required; Blue Mountain software highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High degree of customer service skills
