DIRECTOR, HEAD OF TOTAL REWARDS

Position Summary:

As part of a fully integrated HR team, the Head of Total Rewards will be responsible for the development, design, communication and administration of a progressive and comprehensive compensation, equity, and rewards strategy. This position will develop solutions and innovative approaches to address all compensation and total rewards issues while ensuring programs are aligned with the culture and goals of GBT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compensation, Equity and Rewards:
  • Responsible for the compensation, equity and rewards strategy, plans, programs and activities. This will include leading the planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of compensation, equity and rewards programs and corresponding policies.
  • Design and execute a compensation and rewards strategy that supports the company's growing business and strategies to attract and retain a highly diverse and skilled workforce.
    • This includes a regular review of internal compensation as compared to current market data
    • Work closely with HR Business Partners, CHRO, and Finance to plan and execute mid-year and annual promotion and merit processes
    • Design and implement a nimble and effective employee recognition program to aid in engagement efforts
  • Serve as the main contact with external compensation consultant(s). Ensure functional leaders have adequate benchmarking data to support organizational development and annual budget planning exercises.
  • Work closely with the CHRO, senior leadership and external compensation consultants to discuss new strategies and key decision-making related to executive compensation and survey related work.
  • Prepare data and material needed for the Compensation Committee meetings.
  • Drive education and training on both compensation programs, including education on equity programs.
    • Includes partnering with finance on Employee Stock Purchasing and 401(k) programs
  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Development organization on the development and communication of competencies, job families, and career progression frameworks.
  • Partner with talent acquisition on the final review and leveling of job descriptions.
  • Develop and execute a multi-national compensation and rewards strategy that keeps the company competitive and progressive in all locations as it expands globally.

Benefits:
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Operations on yearly benefits renewal to ensure competitive plan design as well as evaluating new programs, cost strategies and developing a strategy for continued education on benefits and health programs for employees.
  • Design and deliver an annual total rewards statement to employees as part of the focal review process.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required
  • At least 10 years of HR experience in HR roles of increasing responsibility; including at least 5 years of experience in compensation or total rewards design
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to ensure compensation, equity and rewards programs align with the culture and strategic goals of the company and support driving a high-performance environment by attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Track record of thinking outside the norm in the design and implementation of reward and recognition programs.
  • Able to quickly adapt to change and new priorities and lead or participate in change initiatives at various organizational levels.
  • Experience reviewing and developing overall compensation structure, including salary structure, annual merit planning, bonus plan development and administration, sales compensation, equity compensation, and executive compensation.
  • Ability to develop and manage the communication strategy and content development to support compensation, equity and rewards policy provisions, and overall awareness and understanding of total rewards programs.
  • Experience preparing materials for Compensation Committees.
  • Strong experience in integrating culture into people processes and programs.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing organization with responsibility for creating solutions and processes where none had existed previously.
