The selected intern will be responsible for data collection, analysis, review of drug product processes, and presentation of deliverables in support of Combination Products projects.

Delivery Systems and Drug Product Engineering is the department responsible for the development and manufacturing process support of Regeneron's delivery devices for specific drug products.
This includes:
• Research, development, and testing of vials, syringes, autoinjectors, and other delivery systems
• manufacturing process development for drug product filling and delivery system assembly
• supporting the business concerning final drug and delivery system subjects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Applies fundamental understanding and knowledge to execute a project related to the following areas: in-process controls, critical quality attributes, drug product processes, risk management.
• Works closely with cross-functional team to assure project success
• Identifies areas of project risk, escalates issues and risks in an expedient manner, and actively proposes solutions
• Meets commitments on time, safely, with a high level of quality
• Continuously motivated to learn industry skills and best practices
• Maintains a culture of continuous improvement that strives to ensure product safety and efficacy while accelerating delivery of commitments

Education and Experience:
• Pursuing a Bachelors of Science or Graduate Degree in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field is required
• Previous experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred

Applicable Skills:
• Statistical data analysis (Minitab/JMP)
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal communication
• Technical writing
• Oral and written presentation skills
