Summary:
We are seeking a motivated R&D Specialist to join our Research Pharmacokinetics-Sample Analysis team within the Therapeutic Proteins organization. He/she is expected to perform independent analysis for timeline driven ex vivo sample sets. He/she will be responsible for conducting assay development/optimization and sample analysis using immunoassay methods. In addition, this associate is expected to perform data analysis and report experimental results in both verbal and written communications. The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively either as a team player or as an independent contributor. Experience with microtiter plate based immuno-assays, such as ELISA, is required. Experience with analysis using the GyroLab assay system is a plus. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The ideal candidate should possess at least a BS degree, or preferably an MS degree, in biology or a related field and have a minimum of 8-12 years of laboratory experience. 3 - 5 of those years should include assay development. General computer skills such as Excel and Powerpoint are required and experience with GraphPad Prism is a plus. Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
1. ImmunoAssay (i.e. ELISA, GyroLab) analysis of rodent serological samples, including development/optimization of assays
2. Data analysis of samples through GraphPad Prism and Excel
3. Accurate recording of experiments in an electronic lab notebook
4. Compilation of data into comprehensive PowerPoint presentations
5. Infom upper manager and the team of project status and experimental results in both verbal and written communications

Requirements:
-Experience with ELISA related immunoassays, including assay development and optimization required
-Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint necessary;
experience with GraphPad Prism a plus
-Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
-Flexibility necessary
-Strong time management and organizational skills are necessary
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
-Good communication skills necessary
-Experience with the GyroLab system a plus
