Elo Life Systems is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for science and excellent problem-solving abilities to join its expanding team as Business Analytics Associate. This position is an exciting opportunity for graduates with degrees in finance, bioscience management, and/or supply chain to immerse themselves in various aspects of the business of science efforts to improving life through technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts primary and secondary technology diligence, summarizes data and translates to information on market and technical areas for product opportunities
  • Handles day-to-day management, scheduling, co-ordination, administrative and logistical needs of the CEO and the company
  • Supports business development activities, including managing cross functional efforts to develop technical concepts, high level project plans and resource estimations
  • Generates financial forecasts and models for new projects, and supports financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Works in partnership with various Precision teams to advance projects and support technical and business proposal development
  • Selects photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts to illustrate material. When diagrams do not exist, generate de novo and/or attain assistance from qualified sources
  • Creates proposal content, executive summaries, technical solution descriptions, technical approaches and organization credentials that satisfy all requirements of the proposal request and thoroughly address the intended initiative
  • Generates public relations material in conjunction with third party vendors for numerous media types including social media, web and print
  • Archives and documents search results, publications, reports and relevant information
  • Categorizes, catalogs and updates databases relating to ongoing initiatives, tracks and participates in ongoing dialogs when invited

Required Qualifications:

  • A BS or MS in life sciences is required.Recent MBAs will be considered for this role.Experience in business analytics, strategy and/or finance is preferred.
  • Coursework or previous experience related to data analytics or informatics is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build advanced queries to conduct effective searches in scientific and business information databases
  • Experience in project management desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, market research tools, and financial modeling is essential
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills

Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • On occasion, the Business Analytics Associate will be expected to travel to conferences, workshops and or business meetings as needed.
