We are seeking a Research Associate with experience in cell biology and immunology to join our Nurix drug discovery team. Nurix is devoted to unlocking the therapeutic potential of the ubiquitin system to explore the possibility of modulating targets previously believed to be “undruggable”.

Ubiquitin ligases play numerous roles in immune cell function, autoimmunity, inflammation and anti-tumor immunity. The successful candidate will support early drug discovery efforts in inflammation, oncology and immuno-oncology (IO). The candidate's duties will include execution and analysis of in vitro cellular assays to support small molecule discovery efforts as well as new target ID. This individual will work closely with scientists within the group and present their findings to the department and project teams. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn new techniques, highly organized and enjoys working in a creative and dynamic team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-4 years experience, or Master's degree with 0-2 years of industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture
  • Experience isolating and working with primary human and mouse immune cells is a plus
  • Experience with cellular assay techniques including ELISA, Western, FACS and/or multiplexing technologies (e.g. Luminex, Quantigene)
  • Experience with medium throughput assays, CRISPR technology, functional assays for human and mouse immune cells (e.g. T cells, NK cells, antigen presenting cells) is a plus
  • Detail oriented and good record keeping skills
  • Background with past experience in ubiquitin biology is a plus
