Amgen's Global Procure-to-Pay Operations team (Global Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable Operations, P2P Governance and Vendor Master Operations) are looking for an experienced Business Systems Owner to join the P2P Governance Team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sustaining and evolving Amgen's Procure-to-Pay technology solutions to support Amgen's mission to serve patients by enabling our business partners to be able to buy and pay for required goods and services through effective, efficient and compliant P2P technology. This resource will partner closely with Process Owners, Regional Service Delivery Leads, IS, P2P Compliance teams and system users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business owner of Amgen's P2P technology and systems (Ariba, SAP invoicing, payments, vendor master, ServiceNow)
  • Identify, develop, document, prioritize and track business requirements through collection of feedback
  • Partner with IS to review and develop solution documentation by providing a process perspective to evaluate planned implementation of technology solutions
  • Lead user acceptance testing to ensure feedback and effectively communicate testing results and any issues that arise
  • Champion a culture of controls and compliance by to ensuring risks and controls are maintained and mitigated within Procure-to-Pay technology
  • Work with IS and P2P Operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve user experience and drive efficiencies throughout P2P technology
  • Vigilantly investigate and identify issue root cause and provide general support for Procure-to-Pay process within technology
  • Advise P2P leadership of critical issues that may affect the P2P process relating to systems and technology


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of P2P Process and related technology experience

Or

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of P2P Process and related technology experience

Or

Associate's degree and 10 years of P2P Process and related technology experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of P2P Process and related technology experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years' experience in P2P technology specifically Ariba and SAP with Proven experience in technology improvement programs
  • Strong P2P process knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of P2P system architecture and emerging capabilities
  • Experience working for a Global corporation
  • Experience in leading partners through change with and ability to influence at all levels with a customer service mindset
  • Experience directly leading people and/or teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
  • Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
  • Ability to balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a timely and high-quality end work product
